Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, perform, and bill a cleaning, and to reply when you contact us. We do not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

HomeFlow Cleaning ("HomeFlow", "we", "us") provides home and office cleaning services in Utah County, Utah, and selected nearby areas. Contact: admin@homeflowcleaning.com.

2. What we collect, and why

We collect only what is necessary for each purpose.

  • Booking and service delivery (through our booking provider, BookingKoala): name, email, phone, service address, zip code, home or office details (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage), access instructions you choose to give (for example, key handling), notes, and appointment preferences. Purpose: to quote, schedule, perform, and support your cleaning.
  • Payment (through Stripe): card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive a payment token, the last four digits, and transaction status. Purpose: to charge your card after the appointment is completed, and to process refunds.
  • Contact and quote requests (this website): name, email, phone, your message, and your consent choices. Purpose: to reply within 48 hours and to keep a record of what we agreed.
  • Reminders and marketing, only with your consent: email address for seasonal reminders, and mobile number for SMS appointment reminders. You can withdraw consent at any time (reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in emails).
  • Site analytics, only with your consent (Google Analytics 4): pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and interactions such as button clicks. Purpose: to understand which pages help people book. Analytics is blocked until you accept it in the cookie banner.
  • Technical logs: our hosting provider records basic request data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. Our contact form applies rate limiting by IP address to prevent abuse.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, schedule, and bill cleaning services, and to communicate about appointments.
  • To respond to inquiries and support requests.
  • To send reminders or offers you have opted into.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising across other sites.

4. Who we share it with

  • BookingKoala: booking, scheduling, customer accounts, gift cards, referrals, and appointment notifications.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Google Analytics 4: site analytics, only after consent.
  • Email delivery provider (for example Resend or Formspree): delivers contact-form messages to us.
  • Hosting (for example Vercel): serves this website and records technical logs.
  • Cleaning providers: the cleaner assigned to your appointment receives the details needed to perform it (address, access instructions, notes).
  • Legal: when required by law, to protect our rights, or in a business transfer.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and our agreement with it.

5. Retention

  • Booking, service, and billing records: for as long as you have an account, and afterward as required for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes (generally up to 7 years).
  • Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after our last reply, unless they become part of a service record.
  • Marketing and reminder consents: until you withdraw them, plus a record of the withdrawal.
  • Analytics data: per Google Analytics retention settings (we set the shortest available period).

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, deletion: ask us at admin@homeflowcleaning.com. You can also update most details in your BookingKoala account.
  • Marketing and SMS: opt out any time via unsubscribe links, replying STOP, or contacting us.
  • Analytics: change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
  • Utah residents: the Utah Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses above certain revenue and data thresholds. We may be below those thresholds; regardless, we honor requests to access, delete, or obtain a copy of your data, and we do not sell personal data.
  • Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: our analytics only runs after you opt in, so no additional action is required.

8. Children

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use HTTPS throughout, rely on established providers for payment and booking, and limit staff access to what is needed to perform the work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We will post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated by email when we have one on file.
