What we set by default (essential)
- homeflow-consent (localStorage, this site): stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again. Expires only when you clear site data. No personal information.
- homeflow-exit-shown (sessionStorage, this site): remembers that the "before you go" prompt was shown, so it appears at most once per visit. Cleared when the tab closes.
- Hosting and security logs (server-side, not a cookie): IP address and request data for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- _ga (cookie, google.com / this site, 2 years): Google Analytics 4 client identifier.
- _ga_<container-id> (cookie, 2 years): GA4 session state.
The GA4 script is not loaded until you click "Accept all" or enable Analytics in Cookie settings. IP addresses are truncated.
Functional (only with your consent)
- Google Maps embed (Contact page, once an address is published): Google may set cookies (for example NID) when the map loads. The map does not load until you enable Functional cookies.
Third-party sites we link to
Booking, account login, gift cards, and referrals use forms from our booking provider (BookingKoala) embedded on this site. Those forms set their own cookies, including for Stripe payments, and BookingKoala's policies apply to them.
Change your choices
Open at any time (also in the footer of every page). You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
Do we need a banner?
Utah law does not currently require a cookie banner for a site of this size, but Google Analytics and embedded maps are non-essential trackers, and we may have visitors from places that do require consent. Loading them only after consent is the simplest safe default. See our Privacy Policy for how data is used.
